Job summary

Steward + Helm in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances, ensuring safety and company standards. You will support the Resident Service Director with preventative maintenance and timely apartment make-readies.

The role requires at least 2 years in maintenance, a High School diploma, EPA and CPO certifications, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work weekends and on-call

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in residential or commercial maintenance or related fields.
• EPA Certification is required.
• CPO Certification is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, events, and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, appliances, drywall, carpentry, flooring, exterior structures, and more.
• Monitor, prioritize and complete service requests while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist in apartment make-readies to meet company standards for move-ins.
• Work with the Resident Service Director on preventative maintenance programs and safety compliance.
• Repair and replace materials and address maintenance requests across various systems and structures.
• Paint interior and exterior, repair sheetrock and woodwork.
