Job summary

Steward + Helm is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair property systems, ensuring safety and comfort for residents. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and other essential components, including unit make-readies.

You will support the Resident Service Director and contribute to preventative maintenance while delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential or commercial maintenance or related fields.
• EPA Certification is required.
• CPO Certification is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, events, and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, appliances, drywall, carpentry, flooring, and other property components.
• Monitor, prioritize, and complete service requests while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Assist in apartment make-readies to meet company move-in standards.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and safety compliance.
• Repair and replace materials across interior and exterior structures and systems.
• Paint interiors/exteriors and repair sheetrock/woodwork as needed.
