Job summary

Steward + Helm is hiring a Service Technician in Pensacola, FL to maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems across apartment communities. The role supports preventative maintenance and on-time make-readies while delivering excellent customer service.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, manage inventory, and ensure safety and quality standards. The position offers a competitive pay range and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential or commercial maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• CPO Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, special events, and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, appliances, drywall, carpentry, flooring, exterior structures, and other essential property components.
• Monitor, prioritize, and complete service requests with high customer satisfaction.
• Assist in apartment make-readies to meet company standards for move-ins.
• Work with the Resident Service Director to implement preventative maintenance and safety protocols.
• Repair and replace materials for maintenance requests across multiple systems and structures.
• Paint interiors/exteriors and repair surfaces with appropriate tools.
• Respond promptly to on-call pages/requests and maintain curb appeal.
