Job summary

VIP, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Manager in Gorham, ME to act as second in command and support the Service Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include leading the team, ensuring safety compliance, and executing VIP processes to meet high-performance standards.

You will educate customers on vehicle conditions, coach associates, manage daily operations, and participate in safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining a premium service environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and report unsafe conditions.
• Serve customers by consulting with them and educating them about vehicle condition via MPI inspection.
• Aim for above-average customer engagement measured by SAX score.
• Learn and execute managerial activities to deliver a better customer experience.
• Communicate with the team through daily huddles and store meetings; manage emails for appointments.
• Train, support and deliver the 5 for 5 process to educate customers about vehicle conditions and solutions.
• Oversee dispatching and assignment of work orders to technicians.
