The Service Team Coordinator is responsible for inbound and outbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling, general inquiries, and other patient sales and service interactions. The role involves providing excellent customer service, supporting initiatives across ChenMed entities, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. It may require in-office presence when needed.

The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 9:45AM-6:45PM.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Operate in a call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls related to patient scheduling, sales, and inquiries.
  2. Respond to patient inquiries based on ChenMed’s care model.
  3. Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction, escalate issues as needed.
  4. Make timely decisions according to department standards and policies.
  5. Document interactions using web-based technology.
  6. Maintain business relationships through prompt and accurate service to promote loyalty.
  7. Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure VIP customer service.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Business acuity and understanding of core functions and procedures.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Passion for serving others, especially seniors, with proactive solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant systems.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% locally, regionally, and nationwide.
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills (Spanish, Creole, Vietnamese) are a plus.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
  • Healthcare experience in a fast-paced setting is highly preferred.
  • Experience with web-based CRM systems preferred.
