The Service Team Coordinator handles inbound and outbound calls related to patient scheduling, inquiries, and sales. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service to support better patient health, assisting with key business functions across ChenMed, and maintaining compliance and quality standards. This position may require in-office presence when needed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:45AM-6:45PM.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient scheduling, sales, and inquiries.
  • Respond to patient inquiries following ChenMed’s care model.
  • Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction and escalate issues as needed.
  • Make timely decisions according to department standards and policies.
  • Document interactions using web-based technology.
  • Provide prompt, accurate service to promote loyalty and maintain relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure VIP customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong business understanding.
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Passion for serving others, especially seniors.
  • Ability to operate in a demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other systems.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel up to 10% as needed.
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills (Spanish, Creole, Vietnamese) are a plus.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
  • Healthcare experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with web-based CRM systems.
