The Service Team Coordinator handles outbound and inbound calls related to patient scheduling, inquiries, and sales, providing excellent customer service to support better patient health. This role supports initiatives across ChenMed and may require in-office presence when needed.

The schedule is Monday - Friday, 9:45AM-6:45PM.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls for patient scheduling, sales, and inquiries.
  • Respond to patient inquiries following ChenMed’s care model.
  • Follow up to ensure satisfaction and escalate issues as needed.
  • Make timely decisions according to policies and procedures.
  • Document interactions using web-based tools.
  • Provide prompt, accurate service to promote loyalty.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments for VIP customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong business acuity.
  • Understanding of core job functions and procedures.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Passion for serving others, especially seniors.
  • Ability to operate in a demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other systems.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel up to 10%.
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills (Spanish, Creole, Vietnamese) are a plus.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
