Job summary

DU Family of Companies in Capitol Heights, MD is seeking a Service Sales Representative to support the service sales process, prepare deficiency quotes, coordinate inspections, and assist with billing and follow-up. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication to manage multiple priorities.

The position provides opportunities to build relationships with customers and internal teams, with compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Strong oral, written, telephone, and customer-service skills.
• Strong time-management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support internal and external customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures and regulations.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Obtain job information, including PO numbers, tax-exempt forms, and payroll details.
• Assist with scheduling inspections in accordance with contracts and codes.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with customers and inspectors.
• Assist with scheduling service work based on approved quotes.
• Collect inspection reports from inspectors timely.
• Verify reports are received before billing.
• Review reports for deficiencies and prepare quotes as needed.
• Scan and upload invoices, POs, contracts, and docs into the document system.
• Follow up with customers regarding quoted deficiencies.
• Create and book jobs for inspections and service calls.
• Invoice completed work in accordance with policies.
• Assist with customer invoicing and collections for inspections.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
• Provide responsive support to internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
