Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Service Sales Specialist to convert inspection findings into clear action plans. You’ll quote repairs, explain stakes, and guide customers from confusion to confidence, moving fast with a professional, consultative approach.

You’ll handle deficiency quotes across fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems, maintain CRM records, and meet activity targets while discussing timelines and options with customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in inside sales, estimating, or customer service in a trade, service, or technical environment
• Ability to read inspection reports and translate findings for customers
• Strong verbal communication to explain complex issues to non-technical people
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple quotes, follow-ups, and deadlines
• Persistence and honesty in conversations to help customers decide
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn HubSpot and ServiceTrade

Responsibilities

• Review inspection reports and identify deficiencies
• Generate accurate quotes for repairs across fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems
• Prioritize deficiency urgency levels and communicate them clearly
• Use pricing tools and Service Trade to turn quotes around quickly
• Contact customers after inspections to explain findings and recommendations
• Translate technical language into plain terms for customers
• Handle questions about compliance timelines and repair options
• Maintain a professional, consultative tone across interactions
• Manage pipeline of open quotes and keep CRM up to date
• Meet or exceed activity and conversion targets
• Escalate time-sensitive compliance issues promptly
