In this position, you will work with applications engineers, product engineers, and account managers to design and offer Leybold service and solutions that help clients supercharge their process efficiencies. This position acts as the service sales liaison between the Leybold factory and the client with the intent to teach companies how to maximize the lifecycle of their equipment through the VTS Service Ladder.

Main Responsibilities
  • This position involves a mix of time in the home office and on-site work at some of the world's most technologically advanced factories, demonstrating to engineers and management how to maximize the life of their equipment by promoting the VTS Service Ladder.
  • Promote company service products (Service Ladder) by understanding failure modes and working to offer customers service options that mitigate downtime and/or equipment failure to maximize the COO while providing a positive customer experience across various markets including metallurgy, energy, aerospace, automotive, and more.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand business in your geographic region, targeting current clients and new opportunities for Leybold products and services.
  • Provide outstanding technical support, service, and product selection assistance to delight customers.
  • Maintain control of company property (vehicles, equipment, demo products, stock, etc.) at your control or customer sites.
  • Primary responsibility for selling Leybold Services Product range.
  • Collaborate with the equipment sales team to conduct operational reviews, secure repeat orders, and differentiate service offerings to penetrate new business.
  • Prepare and deliver service sales presentations as needed.
  • Focus on developing new business from customers with unserviced, lost, or newly installed equipment, or from competitors.
  • Analyze customer needs and coordinate with internal teams to provide comprehensive vacuum after-sales service solutions.
Physical Demands And Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment include exposure to mechanical parts, outdoor weather, fumes, airborne particles, and occasional work at heights or with chemicals. The role requires sitting, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Frequent computer use is necessary, with specific visual abilities required. The position is 100% remote with occasional travel (up to 50%).

  • Ability to learn and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Skill in creating customized solutions by coordinating technical resources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
