Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Plainfield, IN is hiring a Service Route Driver to service client locations Monday through Friday, 5am–2pm. The role focuses on loading, delivering, and stocking products while maintaining vehicle and account hygiene.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations and deliver/load/unload products.
• Stock shelves in vending machines or coolers and ensure cold storage.
• Oversee inventory, place orders, and collect unsold merchandise.
• Collect payments from machines and maintain positive customer relations.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines; manage vehicle care.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver. This position is Monday - Friday 5am - 2pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
