Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Route Driver to join our team in Grand Rapids. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday on the 1st shift, focusing on loading, delivering, and stocking products at client locations while maintaining refrigeration and inventory controls.

The position requires a valid driver's license (CDL not required), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a DOT physical. You should be customer-focused, organized, and capable of working independently with excellent time

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with product promotion skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and use time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations and deliver, load, and unload products as required.
• Stock shelves or vending machines; ensure proper refrigeration of items.
• Oversee ordering and inventory of merchandise; collect unsold/ stale goods.
• Collect money from machines.
• Provide positive customer interactions with eye contact and a smile.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines; maintain the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver. This position is Monday - Friday, 1st Shift. Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements
