Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly and hardworking individual for the role of Service Route Driver, Full-time. The position involves loading and driving a company vehicle, delivering products to client locations, and maintaining accurate inventory and stocking at accounts.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and excellent time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport products to client locations.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.

• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
