Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Delivery Route Driver (Full-time) to support daily route operations in Canton, OH. This position runs Monday–Friday from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, involving loading, driving, and delivering to client locations, with a focus on safe handling of refrigerated foods.

The role requires a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), a good driving record, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication with customers and AVI teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck.
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations.
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
