Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver to join our full-time team. This role covers Monday–Friday routes, delivering and stocking products at client locations with emphasis on timely service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include loading, delivering, unloading, and maintaining refrigeration on route. A clean driving record and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. AVI offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.

Responsibilities

• Load and prepare product for service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee inventory and ordering; collect unsold items.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers and AVI team members.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately fill the role of Service Route Driver, Full-time. This position works Monday-Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
