Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver to join our team in Ohio. The role involves daily route deliveries Monday through Friday, stocking and merchandising products at client locations, and maintaining vehicle refrigeration.

The position emphasizes customer service, safety, and efficient time management, with opportunities for growth and employee benefits. A valid license (CDL not required) and a clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.

Responsibilities

• Load and prepare the company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload merchandise as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Maintain refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and accounts.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
