Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly and hardworking Service Route Driver to join our team and support client locations with timely deliveries and exceptional service. You will load, drive, and unload products, manage stock, and ensure proper refrigeration while maintaining high standards of customer interaction.

The role emphasizes independent work, ability to pass DOT requirements, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong promotional mindset to drive product sales at client locations.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.
• Capable of working independently and managing time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations and transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload items as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and accounts.
• Oversee ordering and inventory control of merchandise.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Interact positively with customers with eye contact and a smile.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Care for the company vehicle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
