Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hardworking Service Route Driver in Ohio. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 5am–2pm, delivering and stocking products at client locations and ensuring vehicle cleanliness and safety.

Ideal candidates are 21+, hold a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), pass a DOT physical, can lift up to 50 pounds, and demonstrate strong organization, communication, and customer service. AVI offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products for service locations.
• Drive to client sites and deliver, stock, and unload products as needed.
• Maintain refrigeration and sanitation of equipment and trucks.
• Collect payments from machines and manage inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver, Full-time. This position is Monday - Friday 5am-2pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
