Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Route Driver to load, drive, and deliver products to client locations. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, maintaining refrigeration, and providing friendly customer service across routes.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations and transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload items as requested.
• Stock shelves or vending machines with products.
• Maintain refrigeration of cold items in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering and inventory control; collect unsold goods.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
