Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Massillon, OH is hiring a Delivery Route Driver (Full-time). Shift is Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm, delivering products to client locations and ensuring proper loading and refrigeration.

You will share responsibilities with a friendly AVI team, maintain the company vehicle, and promote products while delivering excellent service. Company benefits include health, 401(k) with match, paid vacations, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong time-management and organization skills.
• Outgoing and able to promote products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is loaded with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck.
• Deliver products to vending attendants at client locations.
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Communicate positively with team members and customers.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately fill the role of Delivery Route Driver, Full-time. This position works Monday-Friday from 5:00am to 1:00pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently
