Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Delivery Route Driver to support client locations with timely, accurate deliveries and friendly service. The role requires handling loads, operating a company vehicle, and maintaining product cold-chain while ensuring paperwork is collected at each stop.

The ideal candidate is 21+, has a valid license (CDL not required), can pass a DOT physical, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicates well with customers and AVI teammates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations and deliver products and food.
• Keep refrigerated items properly stored in the truck.
• Deliver to vending attendants and collect related paperwork.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Interact positively with customers and AVI teammates.
• Maintain the care and cleanliness of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Delivery Route Driver.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver's license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
