Job summary

Rivian in Portland, OR seeks a Service Production Supervisor to act as in-shop quarterback, directing vehicle flow, mentoring technicians, and ensuring a seamless, high‑quality service experience for Rivian owners.

You will optimize daily rhythms, coordinate with Parts and Service Advisors, uphold safety standards, monitor KPIs, and champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume automotive service environment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Deep technical knowledge across modern vehicle systems including high-voltage and electrical.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or workflow optimization in service/production settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technicians, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Oversee service workflows, ensuring timely, quality repairs and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Parts, Service Advisors, and other teams to prevent bottlenecks.
• Monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and uphold Rivian culture.
