Lithia & Driveway in Fairbanks, AK seeks a customer-focused Service Porter to support the service department on a Monday–Friday schedule. You will greet customers, assist service advisors, prepare vehicles with seat and floor coverings, and help maintain a clean, safe lot to ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist service customers promptly.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in arriving vehicles.
• Identify the service advisor for the customer and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles when the bill is paid or directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming calls.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report safety or policy concerns to management.

We are looking for a customer-focused Service Porter to join our Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles and takes pride in creating a great customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome service customers, assist all customers promptly.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when the customer pays their bill or as the advisor directs.
• Maintain the parking lot. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform several clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.
