Job summary

Kia of North Tucson, part of Lithia & Driveway, is seeking a customer-focused Service Porter to support our Service Department. You will assist service customers, help move vehicles, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Pay is $18.00 per hour with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. We value teamwork, safety, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping customers.
• Punctual and reliable team member.
• Keep vehicles and lot areas clean and organized.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Safely drive and maneuver a variety of vehicles.
• Dealership or automotive experience is helpful but training is provided.
• Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in your state.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers in a friendly manner.
• Assist all customers promptly.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in service vehicles.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming calls.
• Help Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report safety or property concerns to management.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist all customers promptly.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls when necessary, answering in a professional and prompt manner.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.
