Puckett Machinery in Madison, MS is seeking a Service Coordinator to provide administrative and coordination support to the service department and customers. You will manage service work intake, quotes, parts ordering, warranty administration, and tracking across the lifecycle of work orders.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3-5 years in parts counter or service planning in a parts sales/service shop, strong knowledge of heavy equipment, DBS and Microsoft Office proficiency, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of combined work experience as a retail parts counter salesman and/or service planner in a parts sales and service shop environment.
• Basic technical knowledge of Caterpillar and allied heavy equipment (mechanical systems, diesel engines/engine failures, electrical and hydraulic systems).
• Ability to read and comprehend computer-based schematics, specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins, safety manuals, and other related publications.
• Proficient with DBS and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong verbal/written/interpersonal/customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Receive and administer intake of rental and allied equipment-related parts and service calls from customers and the sales team.
• Administer the lifecycle of parts and service work orders and maintain contact with customers; open/close jobs in the billing system, prepare/tracking quotes, parts ordering, and invoicing.
• Assist with research, ordering, and fulfillment of parts requisitions; track backorder ship dates.
• Administer parts inventory returns, core returns, warranty claims and related credits.
• Assist in the day-to-day administration of the service schedule for technician resources.
• Coordinate ordering and receipt of shop supplies and stock parts; deliver parts to field technicians and run errands as needed.
