Job summary

Rivian in Maryland is seeking a Service Production Supervisor to be the in-shop quarterback, directing vehicle flow from intake to quality check while coaching technicians to excel. You will ensure a high‑quality service experience and act as a catalyst for efficient, safe operations.

You will optimize workflows, manage performance, uphold safety, and collaborate with Parts, Service Advisors, and cross‑team partners to deliver Rivian’s premium service standard.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume automotive service environment.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Deep technical acumen across modern vehicle systems, including high‑voltage, electrical, mechanical, and infotainment domains.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles or workflow optimization.
• Strong proficiency with digital tools, including dealership management systems (DMS), repair order tracking, and diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and inspire a team of technicians, cultivating a high-performance culture.
• Actively manage team performance, conduct reviews, and optimize strengths and development areas.
• Direct on-site service workflows and an accountability cascade across shifts and departments.
• Own daily production rhythm, prioritize workload, and coordinate with Parts and Service Advisors to remove bottlenecks.
• Monitor repair quality and cycle time, using KPIs to drive improvements and safety standards.
