Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience.
• 7+ years operating or repairing heavy equipment.
• 3+ years in customer service.
• Experience using Outlook and Excel; multiple databases.
• Experience budgeting for a Service department.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Service Coordinator to implement efficient processes.
• Assign work orders to technicians based on skills.
• Ensure repairs comply with procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain safe work environment and safety regulations.
• Review repair orders for accuracy before billing.
• Manage parts department flow, returns and cores.
• Coordinate scheduling of field and shop repairs to meet timelines.
• Determine charges for materials and labor for customers.
• Interpret schematics and mechanical procedures as needed.
• Assist in submitting service warranties for maximum credit.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and vehicles to ensure 100% operation.
• Communicate with other department heads to build cohesive team.
• Manage department budget responsibly.
• Attend training to stay current with practices and parts.
