Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience.
• 7+ years operating or repairing heavy equipment.
• 3+ years’ experience in customer service.
• In-depth experience utilizing Outlook and Excel.
• Experience managing departmental budgets and financial principles in a Service department.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Service Coordinator to develop, implement and maintain effective processes within the department.
• Retrieve incoming work orders and assign to appropriate service technician.
• Oversee that repairs and maintenance adhere to procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Review and maintain repair orders for accuracy before billing.
• Manage items leaving the Parts department and ensure proper billing and returns.
• Schedule field and shop repairs to meet timelines and satisfy customers.
• Determine charges for materials and labor for customers or internal accounts.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and vehicles to ensure 100% operation.
• Maintain open communication with other department heads to build an efficient team.
• Manage department budget responsibly.
• Attend training to stay updated with practices and parts.
