Job summary

Bobcat - GDN is seeking a Service Manager to oversee all work in the service department with a hands-on approach that aims to increase productivity and elevate the customer experience.

The role requires recruiting, training, and supervising Service Advisors and Technicians, plus weekly performance reviews and disciplinary actions when needed. You will manage daily operations, safety, and profitability while collaborating on growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ successful management experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability in providing excellent service to both internal and external customers through effective communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by listening to concerns and resolving conflicts.
• Recruit, train, and supervise Service Advisors and technicians.
• Weekly review of technician efficiencies and annual performance reviews; handle disciplinary actions.
• Direct and maintain daily service department operations, including expenses and profitability.
• Maintain safety records, document service actions, lead meetings, and conduct discussions.
• Collaborate with management to support growth strategies.
