Job summary

United Ag and Turf is seeking a Service Operations Manager to optimize the Service Department, grow labor sales, and control expenses across multiple Texas locations. You will supervise the end-to-end work order cycle, ensuring warranty programs are completed and customer satisfaction remains high.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in service ops, strong leadership, and familiarity with John Deere equipment, along with solid communication and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in Service Department operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet-based tools.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Proven leadership and accountability.
• Familiar with John Deere equipment.
• Understanding of basic financial principles in service ops.
• Ability to read internal reports and analytics.
• Willing to work extended hours including weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full work order cycle from generation to invoicing.
• Sell service labor and parts while maximizing productivity.
• Collaborate with Service Manager on process improvements.
• Enforce efficient service department processes for customer satisfaction.
• Schedule and assign jobs to staff based on skill.
• Review work orders before billing.
• Ensure warranty and product improvement programs are submitted on time.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good order.
• Coach and develop employees and encourage training.
