Walt Massey, a Gulf Coast automotive group, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a fast-paced service department and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will coach a high-performing team of service advisors and technicians, drive profitability, and ensure clear communication on repairs, pricing, and timelines.

You will recruit, train, and mentor staff, establish goals and budgets, and strive for continuous improvement in CSI scores and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive Service Manager experience
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience managing departmental performance, budgets, and profitability
• Results-driven with a passion for developing people

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
• Drive department profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Ensure customers receive clear communication regarding vehicle repairs, maintenance recommendations, pricing, and timelines.
• Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed throughout the service process.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate service department personnel.
• Establish department goals, budgets, and performance objectives with strategies for growth.
• Maintain and improve CSI scores by resolving customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
