Job summary

Hy-Vee in Olathe, KS is seeking a Service Manager to keep store operations running smoothly by supervising staff across departments and delivering prompt, friendly service. You’ll lead scheduling, handle customer issues, oversee merchandising and compliance, and step in where needed, while developing employees and driving results in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll lead and develop teams, maintain store standards, and ensure excellent customer experiences across all areas of the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers by name.
• Lead by example and maintain positive employee relations across store departments.
• Plan and adjust work schedules; assign duties and monitor task completion.
• Supervise store activities in the Department Manager's absence and perform duties as needed.
• Train staff on store policies and procedures; ensure safety and compliance.
• Review performance and support promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions.
• Ensure accuracy in cash handling and reporting; manage store operations.
