Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Dawsonville, GA seeks a Service Manager to lead a mobile storage branch's maintenance, hire and motivate a team of Service Technicians, and drive efficiency and customer satisfaction through proper equipment upkeep.

You’ll work with the Branch Manager to build a profitable location, oversee R&M, P&L, budgeting, safety, training, and performance coaching while maintaining compliance with DOT and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required; trade-school degree a plus; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Extensive equipment fleet maintenance and leadership experience.
• 5+ years service/maintenance experience and minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, motivation and customer service skills.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance accounting and P&L.
• Basic computer skills (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Motivate, coach and train technicians to meet time & quality standards and follow maintenance processes.
• Staff location based on skills and workload.
• Oversee R&M, P&L and associated costs/budget.
• Lead and measure ongoing improvements of service and maintenance metrics.
• Oversee parts department activities to optimize customer service and cost control.
