United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager to lead a major maintenance enterprise, hire and motivate a team of Service Technicians, and work with the Branch Manager to build a profitable location.

You’ll apply leadership, service, maintenance knowledge, and business management to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include coaching technicians, staffing, overseeing maintenance and parts activities, and driving safety culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a maintenance environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication.
• Experience with maintenance accounting and P&L management.
• Proven ability to coach and develop staff.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools (Excel).
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsabilités

• Motivate, coach and train technicians to meet time and quality standards.
• Staff location based on skills and workload.
• Oversee R&M, P&L and budget.
• Lead continuous improvement of service metrics.
• Manage parts department activities for cost control.
• Evaluate performance and promotability of team members.
