Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions in Florida is seeking a Service Manager to lead a service team and back-office support as the company grows. You will manage service, warranty and emergency jobs, oversee inspections, and drive budgeted revenue and gross margins.

Strong leadership, communication, and NFPA knowledge are essential, along with a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks. This is a hands-on role in a growing national organization.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of service operations management experience in fire detection, protection, or security.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screening.
• Proficient in NFPA codes and standards.
• Ability to manage budgets and meet revenue and gross margin targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage the service department and supervise branch staff.
• Schedule, execute, bill and close service, warranty, and emergency jobs.
• Execute service inspections on time and address deficiencies.
• Develop a budget and meet revenue and gross margin targets.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to meet goals.
• Deliver projects within original budgeted cost and analyze monthly financials.
• Oversee asset management, inventory and service vehicles.
• Build a high-performance culture with annual reviews and development.
• Plan manpower and allocate resources for growth and profitability.
• Support sales and installation teams to drive division success.
• Ensure safety compliance with NFPA, OSHA standards and testing equipment.
