McCandless Truck Center is seeking a Service Manager to lead and optimize the service department, driving customer satisfaction and profitability. The role reports to the Service Director/Branch or GM and focuses on operational excellence, team leadership, and service performance.

The position emphasizes building relationships with customers, improving workflow, and promoting service solutions across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, technical, or related field or equivalent experience.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Further education in a relevant field preferred.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is either current or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service department operations by leading staff, managing schedules, and ensuring workflow efficiency.
• Build and manage strong customer relationships and address service needs, resolve complex complaints, and support issue resolution.
• Drive service solution sales by promoting the service portfolio and coordinating across departments.
• Manage service department performance by monitoring budgets, KPIs, and operational targets, and driving improvements.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture with professional development and accountability.
