Salem Leasing is seeking a Service Manager to lead shop operations, ensuring efficient service and maintenance of customer equipment. You will supervise technicians, coordinate repairs, and maintain vendor relationships in a bustling, in-person facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on medium and heavy duty diesel truck mechanic and supervisory experience.
• Flexible with shifts, strong customer focus, meet scheduled deadlines.
• Working knowledge of computer diagnostics and shop parts/maintenance software.
• CDL license preferred; Brake and DOT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise activities of all assigned personnel.
• Provide supervision to employees and ensure duties are performed promptly.
• Hire, train and evaluate personnel.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with vendors and customers.
• Follow up on work needed for units sent to outside repairs.
• Ensure compliance with company, DOT and OSHA guidelines.
• Plan and prepare work schedules and assign duties.
• Provide training on company policies, safety and procedures.
• Perform duties of positions as needed and support Area Manager.
