Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the service department, lead front-line supervisors, and ensure exceptional resident service. You will supervise technicians, turnover staff, and maintenance teams while enforcing safety, OSHA, and HazCom standards across communities.

Key duties include budget review, vendor coordination, inspections, and on-call coverage. A high school diploma and supervisory experience are required, with EPA 608 and CPO

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of building maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity.
• EPA 608 Certification Type II or Universal (required).
• CPO (Certified Pool & Spa Operator) certification for properties with an on-site pool preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service technicians, carpenters, turnover coordinators, customer service representatives, and pool attendants (where applicable).
• Manage on-site service operations including work orders, turnover service, vehicles, equipment, paper flow, and communication.
• Review and approve timecards in the HRIS system and ensure staffing levels meet needs.
• Oversee HazCom Program, OSHA Safety Program, and annual inspections.
• Coordinate apartment turnovers with vendors to keep units move-in ready.
