Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee service staff and on-site operations, ensuring prime property condition and timely service responses. You will supervise service technicians, turnover coordinators, and customer service staff, ensuring quality work and safety compliance.

Maintain budgets, track inspections, and enforce HazCom/OSHA, environmental policies, and best practices to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of building maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity.
• EPA 608 Certification Type II or Universal (i.e., CFC certification) required or preferred for pool properties.
• CPO (Certified Pool & Spa Operator) certification preferred for properties with on-site pools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service staff and on-site operations to ensure timely, high-quality maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance shop organization, supplies, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate apartment turnovers and vendor services to keep units market-ready.
• Manage budgets, purchase orders, and financial reporting for maintenance operations.
• Ensure adherence to HazCom, OSHA, and environmental policies and training programs.
• Assist with on-call duties as required by property needs.
