Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, while training a strong restaurant crew. The role requires hands-on supervision on the line, daily task coordination, and leadership development.

The candidate should understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, have knowledge of cash handling, and be familiar with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Understanding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing and glove changes, time/temperature monitoring, shelf lives, and Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Resolve customer incidents and promote positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross train front-of-house Crew.
• Assist with Crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties (banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork).
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained and stocked.
