Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained with strong customer service.

The role requires staying on the floor, monitoring line operations, and assisting with various tasks during slower periods. You will help ensure food safety and quality, train and develop crew, and contribute to office duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf lives, and Daily Food Safety Checklist policies.
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front of house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties (banking, cash handling policies, and related paperwork).
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are in working order and stocked as needed.
