Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is hiring a Service Leader to safeguard a positive guest experience by ensuring safe, quality food is prepared and served while keeping a clean, organized line and trained crew.

The role involves supervising line operations, training and developing staff, and handling occasional office tasks and inventory responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of food safety, cash handling, and restaurant service, along with the ability to communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served and meets standards.
• Resolve food quality issues and maintain food safety practices.
• Monitor time and temperature, hand washing, glove changes, and daily safety checklist.
• Address customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
• Manage crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules; assist with performance reviews.
• Develop and cross-train front-of-house crew; participate in advancement of service leaders.
• Assist with office administration tasks and paperwork; manage supplies and banking policies.
