Job summary

Paul Miller Audi in Parsippany, NJ is hiring for an administrative role within the service department. You'll handle repair order data entry, billing support, cash handling, and office duties to keep the service flow smooth.

We value neat appearance, reliable communication with customers and teams, a clean driving record, and readiness for background/drug screening. Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.

• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs and requests to management and sales personnel.
• Professional personal appearance.

• Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Transfer information from repair orders from hard copy to soft copies and reconcile the orders.
• Total the retail parts, fluids, and labor charges to calculate a category total.
• Collect the total charges from the customer in cash, check, or authorized charge account.
• Provide the customer with the proper change and/or receipts.
• Document charge purchases according to dealership policies.
• Complete the accounting section of the repair order as directed by the business manager.
• Deliver to the business office daily all closed repair orders and parts invoices.
• Handle daily cash in/out in the assigned money box.
• Control and return customers' keys as bills are paid; direct customers to their vehicle.
• File repair orders as directed by service department management.
• Answer the service department telephone, transfer calls or take messages when needed.
• Be courteous and helpful to all customers and obtain immediate assistance when service management is needed.
• Maintain a personal appearance consistent with dealership standards.
• Report any safety concerns to management.
• Perform any other administrative tasks as directed by management.
