Responsibilities

• Operates a multi-line telephone system and transfers calls to the appropriate individuals or department.
• Answers all incoming calls quickly and in a courteous and professional manner, and transfers them as needed.
• Minimizes time customers spend on hold and confirms if they wish to continue waiting when necessary.
• Takes detailed messages when calls cannot be transferred; forwards information promptly to the concerned individual.
• Filters incoming calls at management request.
• Welcomes customers visiting the showroom and determines the purpose of their visit.
• Directs customers to the appropriate department, notifies the employee concerned that a customer is waiting, and introduces customers to salespeople.
• Records data in a customer tracking system and prepares weekly reports on potential customers for management.
• Performs word processing and inputs data to update computerized files; handles photocopying duties as needed.
