Job summary

Responsibilities

• Answers phones as instructed per the service script and acts as liaison between service and customer.
• Opens customer work orders, captures symptoms, and records repairs and services required.
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage using the equipment file.
• Develops estimates or quotes by sourcing parts quotes and labor time guides.
• Coordinates with the parts department to order needed parts for open work orders.
• Follows up on stalled work orders to avoid delays and communicates with customers.
