Job summary

A machinery manufacturing company seeks a Service Support Specialist to assist the service department with dispatching, customer service, and generator warranty start-ups. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills and have at least a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience. This full-time position is on-site, based in Owings Mills, Maryland, and provides an entry-level opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all national account start-ups assigned to KGE by Generac
• Provide support to our contractors, customers, and factory representatives
• Utilize in-house software to submit appropriate documentation for payment by Generac
• Utilize Generac website to pull credit memos and invoice jobs
• Assist with dispatching technicians to assigned projects
• Support the service team as needed
• Rotate in after hours on-call rotation
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to develop relationships with co-workers & vendors

Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent time management skills

Education

High school diploma

1 year experience in customer service, administrative or related field
