Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Coordinator in Dallas, TX to support the Customer Center for industrial compressed air needs. You will handle service calls, schedule preventive maintenance and repairs, and coordinate with sales and management to meet customer requirements.

The role emphasizes invoicing accuracy, inventory/rental management, safety compliance, and quotes. A high school diploma or GED is required with 2–3 years of related experience; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with hand-held computer.
• Salesforce experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians for preventive maintenance and service repairs.
• Guide and develop service technicians as appropriate, assisting in technical issue resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Manage service inventory and rental fleets.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in the Customer Center.
• Generate and follow up on service quotes; seek new business when possible.
• Order and receive parts for jobs and handle shipping/receiving.
• Display teamwork with flexibility for overtime/weekends as needed.
