Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Coordinator to support the Customer Center and industrial compressed air services. You will coordinate service technicians, manage customer communications, and ensure efficient order management while meeting operational requirements.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, scheduling, invoicing accuracy, and coordination with sales and management to serve client needs. Dallas, TX-based position with travel possible.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and 2-3 years of experience in a related field is required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred?
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with hand-held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad) is required.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is preferred.
  • Forklift certification a plus, but not required (we'll certify you!)

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians to perform preventive maintenance and service repairs; maximize efficiency.
  • Guide and develop service technicians; assist in technical issue resolution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Manage service inventory and rental fleets (repair status, location, etc.).
  • Ensure EH&S adherence and assist with auditing processes.
  • Earn customer loyalty by effective interactions and generate/follow up on service quotes; seek new business.
  • Order and receive parts for jobs; monitor shipping and receiving; data entry for service requests; submit warranty claims; and ship parts to factory.
  • Display teamwork and dedication; flexible to work overtime and weekends as required.

Job Summary

This position is a Service Coordinator supporting the CustomerCenterand serving the compressed air needs of the industrial sector. The Service Coordinatoris responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, and efficiently and effectively coordinating service technicians to meet customer needs.? Service Coordinators will manage and communicate with customers, sales teams, and management, while adhering to all order management and operational requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling.? It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and or move 40+ lbs.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This position will be based in Dallas,TX and may travel occasionally within the US for meetings, employee training, and other business needs (5-10%).

Exceptional organization, communication (verbal and written), and follow-up skills with the ability to effectively manage a high volume of priorities and commitments in a highly visible, fast-paced work environment.

Strong interpersonal skills, able to follow standard processes and work autonomously while understanding when to escalation issues that require further review.

Exceptional customer service skills, including proper phone etiquette and skills.
