Job summary

OMI MedTech is seeking a highly organized Service Coordinator at our Sanford, Florida office to support service calls for medical equipment. You will work with customers, field technicians, vendors, and the operations team to ensure timely responses and an exceptional customer experience.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in service coordination or dispatch, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple requests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, or a similar role.
• Experience supporting field service technicians is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple open service calls.
• Experience sourcing parts or working with vendors is a plus.
• QuickBooks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for customers requesting service and repairs.
• Coordinate with field service technicians to keep service calls moving efficiently.
• Communicate service status, scheduling, parts availability, and next steps with customers.
• Help prioritize service requests based on urgency.
• Create and send customer quotes for repairs, parts, and services.
• Research, identify, and source replacement parts and equipment.
• Request pricing/availability from manufacturers, distributors, and vendors.
• Follow up on open quotes, parts orders, and open service calls.
• Review technician service documentation and ensure proper job closure.
• Assist with purchase orders, parts tracking, shipping, RMAs, and logistics.
• Maintain accurate customer, equipment, and service data.
• Work with operations to improve scheduling and efficiency.
• Identify problems before they become customer issues.
• Assist with other day-to-day operational needs as the company grows.
