Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Billing Specialist to prepare accurate costing and invoicing for service work under the Facility Service Operations (FSO) Manager. You will process service calls, ensure proper markups, complete descriptions of work performed, and review billing batches before posting to customers.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of computerized billing, strong Excel/Word, excellent writing and communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of computerized billing and data entry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Highly organized with multitasking ability.
• Construction industry experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of the IFS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process service calls and small project invoicing with accurate costing and markups.
• Prepare billing and ensure descriptions of material, costs, and work performed are complete.
• Review billing batches with management before posting to customers.
• Interface with service sales to ensure timely processing.
• Monitor outstanding work orders and track unbillable or pending items.
• Post credits, rebills, and adjust quotes as required.
